Plumbsolve Limited Terms and Conditions

These Terms and Conditions apply to all plumbing and related services carried out by Plumbsolve Limited, whether quoted, estimated, or otherwise agreed. By requesting or accepting our services, the client acknowledges and agrees to these terms in full.
It is the client’s responsibility to read and understand these terms before work begins.

Definitions

“Plumbsolve” refers to Plumbsolve Limited, its employees, contractors, and authorized representatives.

“Client” means any person, business, or entity that requests, purchases, or receives goods or services from Plumbsolve Limited, including anyone acting on their behalf.

Fixed pricing and rates
​**A standard $50 assessment fee is attached to each job booked. We come out to diagnose, assess and will provide you with a fixed price for the work. If you accept the quoted price, we waive the assessment fee and proceed only with the quoted price.
If you choose to decline the quoted price, we charge just the $50 assessment fee (includes gst) and you pay before we leave the property.
However, some jobs require investigating or some work is required (eg. cutting gib) to find the issue and in that case our charge up rates listed below will apply.

A minimum charge of $120 excluding GST. for the first hour on site.

A standard hourly rate of $120 excluding GST, billed in 15 minute increments ($30 every 15minutes) starts after the first 1st hour on site until the tradesman leaves the property at which work has been carried out.

"After Hours" minimum charge of $200 excluding GST. for the first hour on site.

"After Hours" hourly rate of $200 excluding GST, billed in 15 minute increments ($50 every 15minutes) starts after the first hour on site until the tradesman leaves the property at which work has been carried out.

After Hours rates apply for any work completed outside standard business hours (Monday - Friday, 8:00 am - 5:00 pm).

All materials are supplied at retail prices unless otherwise stated by Plumbsolve.

GST is added to all goods and services sold.
Payment

All invoices are payable by cash, EFTPOS card payment or bank transfer onsite upon job completion unless approved by Plumbsolve.

Any overdue or unpaid balances will be subject to a late payment fee of $50 excluding GST after the due date has passed. In addition, 28 days after the due date, unpaid balances will be handed over to a debt collection agency and any costs associated will be included.

Warranty and Workmanship

Plumbsolve provides a lifetime labour warranty from the invoice date on all work completed by our team.

"Lifetime labour warranty" does not replace manufacturer warranty for parts and materials supplied. Each manufacturer has their own warranty and timeframes.

This warranty covers only the specific work (labour) carried out by Plumbsolve. It will be void if the work has been altered or interfered with by another party.

No warranty or dealing with claims is offered for customer-supplied parts or products.

Any concerns regarding workmanship or materials supplied by Plumbsolve must be reported in writing within 48 hours of completion.

Plumbsolve must be given reasonable access to inspect and, if necessary, repair or replace the affected work within 7 working days of notification.

Blockages in waste, sewer, or stormwater drains are not covered under any warranty.
Ownership of Goods

All materials and products supplied by Plumbsolve remain the property of Plumbsolve until full payment is received. Ownership passes to the client only once the invoice is paid in full.
Cancellations and Rescheduling

A minimum of 24 hours notice is required for cancellations or rescheduling of booked work.

Cancellations made with less than 24 hours’ notice will incur a $50 excluding GST cancellation fee.

If a technician has already attended the property, the standard minimum charge of $120 excluding GST. charge will apply as this will be lost time.

Plumbsolve is not responsible for any goods delivered, damaged, or lost due to a cancellation.

Hot Water Deals

Prices listed on our website or advertising for 'tank only' and 'mains pressure replacement' apply only to installations of a similar size and model to existing.

For 'tank only' - Pricing assumes a standard installation up to 3 hours with one tradesperson. Extra time, materials, or an additional tradesman required to assist will incur further costs. Additional items such as non-return valves, strainers, cold-expansion valves and tempering valves are not included in standard pricing, minimum allowance for pipework.

Pricing is based on the assumption that the existing system complies with current New Zealand plumbing and electrical regulations, additional costs may apply to make the new installation compliant.

These services are only valid during standard business hours - After Hours rates apply for any work booked or completed outside standard business hours (Monday - Friday, 8:00 am - 5:00 pm).

If a booking is cancelled after a site visit has been completed, the standard minimum charge of $120 excluding GST. charge will apply to cover travel, labour, and operational costs as this will be lost time.

Plumbsolve does not accept responsibility for any pre-existing faults in the property’s plumbing, or electrical systems identified during or after the installation.
Drain Unblocking Deals

Prices listed on our website or advertising for standard 'Fixed Price' applies only to clearing of the blockage. It includes travel, admin costs and the use of drain clearing equipment to complete the work.

Pricing assumes there is easy access to inspection/entry points of the drains and the blockage can be cleared within 1 Hour on-site with one tradesperson.

Additional work, such as, removing the toilet for access to the drain, excavating the ground for access or cutting into pipework may incur extra charges.

Additional materials such as pipe, joiners or sealant for repairs are not included in this pricing.

The use of CCTV and Locator, if requested or required is not included in this pricing and may incur extra charges.

By requesting or accepting a quotation, booking an appointment, or engaging Plumbsolve for any service, the client agrees to these Terms and Conditions in full.
